SA’s Top Business

 

SA’s Top Business Banks survey was introduced in 2013 and this year’s survey will be published in August 2014. It follows a similar methodology in gathering and analysing data as Intellidex’s other surveys.

Busbanks2013Intellidex conducts a thorough research process that aims to assess the level and types of services provided by the business banking divisions of the big banks, as well as the smaller banks that focus specifically on business banking. We believe it is the only rigorous assessment of business banking in South Africa.

The research process includes three substantial exercises working in parallel:

  • A major online client survey. Owners of small businesses and managers in large companies complete an online questionnaire regarding their banking relationship, in which they rank their bank on various aspects of the business banking services and products they provide.
  •  A questionnaire process with the banks. Our analysts interview the business banking divisions of the banks and rank them in various categories.
  •  A desktop research exercise.

FNB dominates the 2013 awards, excelling in almost every category covered and it won the overall award, SA’s Top Business Bank, as well as the People’s Choice award.
