Does your company have South Africa’s sharpest financial brains? We’re giving you the opportunity to prove it, while raising money for charity!
In the run up to the festive season, we are hosting an exciting new charity drive through a “virtual pub quiz” to test your financial general knowledge. So get your team together – we encourage you to challenge associates, colleagues and competitors to help us rally resources in support of those who have been most severely affected by Covid-19.
CLICK HERE TO REGISTER FOR THE QUIZ
There is an entry fee of R2,000 per team which will go into a pot to be donated to the charity chosen by the winning team. Any charity can be chosen by the team entering provided it is a bona fide public benefit organisation that is registered as a non-profit organisation in South Africa. The donations will be made to the winning team’s charity in the names of the companies that entered (unless you expressly indicate otherwise). If requested, section 18A certificates will be requested from the winning charity for each company that enters.
Intellidex will match the total amount raised through the quiz with a donation to the Seriti Institute, subject to a cap of R40,000.
Your team can have up to five players. Please choose a team name for your entry form. Companies are welcome to enter more than one team. All team members must be bona fide employees (or contract staff) of the company they represent. Entries must be in by midnight on 23 November.
The quiz will be done virtually and presented by our finquizmaster, Dr Stuart Theobald, over five knockout rounds.
Teams can assemble together to compete or do so through virtual meeting rooms that we will enable. Quiz questions will be developed by Intellidex and accepted answers on the night will be final.
The team with the best virtual background will win a mystery prize!
Once you have registered, we will share further details on where the registration fee can be paid. Your registration will be approved once proof of payment has been received.
We look forward to having some festive fun in support of a good cause following a gruelling 2020! Hope to see you there.
